SLAM Cinema—Little Miss Sunshine
SLAM Cinema is celebrating the exhibition In Search of America: Photography and the Road Trip with three road-trip films. The second in this series is Little Miss Sunshine, a 2006 ensemble comedy about a dysfunctional family driving to a child beauty pageant. The film was directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris and stars Alan Arkin, Abigail Breslin, Steve Carell, Toni Collette, Paul Dano, and Greg Kinnear. Rated R. 102 minutes.
