SLAM Jam featuring the LustreLights
Enjoy live music and food trucks while exploring the Grace Taylor Broughton Sculpture Garden during the SLAM Jam series kickoff, featuring the LustreLights.
Food trucks include FUFU n’ Sauce, Zacchi, and Destination Desserts.
About the performers
The LustreLights is a dedicated group of professional musicians and entertainers who have performed in a variety of musical settings. The LustreLights are led by Kara Baldus, a musician who has over 18 years of experience playing in some of St. Louis’s most popular event bands. Each musician in the band holds a degree in music, and Baldus has been a full-time instructor of jazz piano at Washington University in St. Louis since 2005.
About SLAM Jam
In the event of severe weather, the LustreLights performance will take place in Grigg Gallery.
The Museum is open until 9 pm on Fridays, so make sure to also visit the galleries.
