St. Louis Classical Guitar Winter Concert
As part of SLAM’s Festive Fridays celebration, the Gateway Guitar Quartet and St. Louis Classical Guitar Orchestra will perform seasonal music in SLAM’s Farrell Auditorium.
Free tickets will be available for this concert in person at the Museum starting at 10 am on the day of the performance. Tickets will be available at the welcome desk in Taylor Hall.
About the performers
The Gateway Guitar Quartet consists of local St. Louis guitarists Paul Kreter, Jeffrey Sieth, Stephen Rekas, and Bob Wooldridge who perform a repertoire of selections from the Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical periods as well as the national music of countries such as Spain and Brazil. Members Paul and Jeff also arrange music from other genres for the group, including beautiful folk and popular tunes.
St. Louis Classical Guitar Orchestra is a performance group of community guitarists under the direction of W. Mark Akin. The orchestra consists of guitarists from all backgrounds and skill level.

Krick, SLCG is the third-oldest organization in the nation centered around classical guitar.
