As part of SLAM’s Festive Fridays celebration, St. Louis Irish Arts will perform traditional Irish dance and music in the Museum’s Farrell Auditorium.
Free tickets will be available for this concert in person at the Museum starting at 10 am on the day of the performance. Tickets will be available at the welcome desk in Taylor Hall.

About the concert
This performance will feature a group of SLIA students accompanied by SLIA instructors Eileen Gannon (harp), Eimear Arkins (fiddle and vocals), Kelly Sim (piano accordion), Robert Ryan (fiddle), Kevin Buckley (fiddle), and Shannon Flecke (dance). The program will include a selection of old Irish melodies, toe-tapping dance tunes, and of course, some Irish holiday favorites!

About the performers
St. Louis Irish Arts is a school dedicated to the instruction of the traditional music, song and dance of Ireland. It has been at the forefront of the preservation, promotion, and instruction of traditional Irish arts for over 50 years in St. Louis and is regarded as one of the top schools of its kind in North America. The school prides itself on the continual persistence of teaching these cultural art forms the way they have been taught throughout the centuries in Ireland: handed down from one generation to the next.
