Teacher Workshop—Roman Art in the Time of Trajan
In this interdisciplinary teacher workshop, educators will visit Ancient Splendor: Roman Art in the Time of Trajan and learn how the emperor Trajan invested in art and architecture to shape civic life at the height of the Roman Empire. Following the tour, teachers will create their own artworks inspired by concepts in the exhibition led by local artist Sue Giannotti. Educators will leave the workshop equipped with ideas for how to connect the exhibition to classroom curriculum.
Lunch will be provided. Registration is required, and space is limited.
