Textile Celebration
In collaboration with the St. Louis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Saint Louis Art Museum is hosting a quilt celebration! This program will explain conservation techniques of quilts in the Museum’s collection as well as explore the relationship between quilts and family genealogy. This will be followed by a close-looking exercise of a few quilts in SLAM’s collection, which will encourage conversation about the relationship to family history and quilting.
