Totentanz: A Town and Country Symphony Orchestra Halloween Concert
Join the Town & Country Symphony Orchestra for a free Halloween concert featuring guest pianist Thomas Pandolfi performing Franz Liszt’s Totentanz. The program will also feature Nini Wang and Edwin Erwin, with selections from Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Phantom of the Opera and On a Dark and Windy Night, a new work by TCSO’s John Meurer.
Free tickets for this concert will be available in person at the Museum’s welcome desks starting at 10 am on the day of the performance.
About the performers
Town and Country Symphony Orchestra offers enriching and fulfilling music performed by community-oriented volunteer musicians. Directed by David L. Peek, TCSO is in its 65th season of bringing music to St. Louis County and its surrounding communities. Concerts include a wide array of music, including classical symphonies and overtures, movie and Broadway themes, holiday classics, chamber music, and concertos.
Thomas Pandolfi is celebrated for performances that combine electrifying virtuosity, poetic sensitivity, and charismatic stage presence. A Steinway Artist, he has established himself as one of America’s distinguished concert pianists, performing to acclaim at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Kiev Opera House, Bucharest’s Romanian Athenaeum, and London’s Cadogan Hall.
