Wall Art: Murals and Graffiti Art Teacher Workshop
Participants in this teacher workshop will have opportunities to view the exhibition The Culture: Hip Hop and Contemporary Art in the 21st Century and artwork in the Museum’s permanent collection galleries to explore examples of mural and graffiti art. Teachers will then learn about historical influences in these art forms and engage in a hands-on workshop with St. Louis artist and DJ 18andCounting.
Lunch and materials will be provided. Enrollment is free. Space is limited, and enrollment requests are considered with regard to equitable school and/or school district representation. Complete the teacher workshop application using the Apply button to submit an enrollment request.
