On the Road Again! Drive by for a celebration of the exhibition In Search of America: Photography and the Road Trip with Friends of Photography and Young Friends.
Fuel up with a drink and light hors d’oeuvres before taking the scenic route through the exhibition or enjoying live music in Sculpture Hall.
Then at 6:30 pm, you are invited to The Farrell Auditorium for an exclusive lecture given by Kelli Connell, a Chicago-based photographer whose work is featured in the exhibition. She will discuss the making of her most recent series of work, Pictures for Charis, which retraces the steps of photographer Edward Weston and writer Charis Wilson’s 1937 road trip for the book California and the West.
This event is complimentary for two RSVPs and includes Museum garage parking.

This event occurs after the Museum closes to the public at 5 pm. The Museum will reopen for event attendees at 5:30 pm.
Please enter through the East Building entrance or the parking garage at 5:30 pm.
