ST. LOUIS, July 16, 2026—The Saint Louis Art Museum’s Art Hill Film Series returns in October 2026.
This fall, fans of eerie cinema can enjoy “Men in Black” on Friday, Oct. 2 and “Young Frankenstein” on Oct. 9. Preshow activities begin at 5 p.m., and the films begin at 7 p.m.
In the 1997 action movie “Men in Black,” two agents in a top-secret organization for tracking alien activity find themselves in a deadly plot. As intergalactic terrorists threaten Earth’s energy sources, Agent J and Agent K, played by Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, must prevent worlds from colliding. The film is rated PG-13 and runs 98 minutes.
Directed by Mel Brooks, “Young Frankenstein” follows neurosurgeon Dr. Frederick Frankenstein, played by Gene Wilder, who recently inherited his infamous grandfather’s Transylvania estate. Despite wanting to distance himself from his family’s mad reputation, Dr. Frankenstein repeats his grandfather’s reanimation experiments and revives a chaotic, tap-dancing monster. This film is rated PG and runs 106 minutes.
Both Fridays will include music and food trucks. Coolers and picnic baskets are welcome. Guests can also purchase drinks from the Panorama tent and food from the museum’s Cafe. Free parking and seating at the Art Hill Film Series will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
