The Saint Louis Art Museum is excited to offer early hours for school groups to visit select exhibitions!

School groups may request visits for the following exhibitions before the Museum opens to the public: Always Modern: German Art and Design from the Collection; Ancient Splendor: Roman Art in the Time of Trajan; Visions of Antiquity; Picturing Independence; Women Impressionists and the Land; and Unsettling the City: Julie Mehretu’s “Epigraph, Damascus.”

Early entry is available beginning at 9:30 am every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from January 13 through May 28 and from September 1 through December 17, 2026.

Special pricing for student groups

For all ticketed exhibitions, school groups receive free admission and one free adult ticket for every 10 students. Adult tickets for additional chaperones are available at the group rate of $8 each. School group visits to ticketed exhibitions are also available during regular Museum hours.

Transportation assistance

The Saint Louis Art Museum provides transportation assistance to qualifying schools based on need and availability of funds.
