NOTES
Calligraphic black lines stretch across a background colored with watery bursts of green, red, yellow, blue, and pink. Joan Miró’s deep fascination with the cosmos is evident here through the small star in the upper center and the arrows that cap each sinuous line. These elements suggest the idea of infinite expansion. A dotted line circles a yellow spot in the upper left corner, evoking the presence of the sun or another bright star.
