Notes:
[1] A letter from Mr. Chassinat from Kalebdjian Frères dating December 5, 1924 states the object was "discovered in 1912 in Denderah (Upper Egypt) in one of the ruined houses which surrounded the temple of Hathor, amid a lot of objects in precious metals...The examination of those which escaped destruction permits us to affirm that it concerns a part of the treasure of the Temple of Hathor" [SLAM document files].
