Photographer Anna Kuperberg focuses on a moment of contemplation for a young girl playing outside on a sunny day. In the foreground of this image, the girl sits alone, at the edge of a trampoline. She is physically distant from two boys who wrestle near the opposite edge of the trampoline, and a third child who is climbing over the back yard fence and departing the scene. There is a bit of mystery in this photograph. Is the girl alone by choice? Has the "game" now become a wrestling match with two players no longer interested? Kuperberg's work can be light-hearted and witty, but often includes more serious undertones.
