[1] Daniel K. Catlin, M.D., and Doris Havemeyer Catlin received two prints from the Hudson River Portfolio from Doris’ father, Horace Havemeyer, during their first year of marriage in 1937. The remaining prints were collected over a span of forty years from the early 1940s to the 1980s from many sources, including the Old Print Shop and Kennedy Galleries in New York, NY [per notes taken by Francesca Herndon-Consagra and email correspondence from Daniel Catlin, Jr., SLAM document files].
