Alayna N. Pernell is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, and educator from Heflin, Alabama. She is the associate lecturer of photography and imaging at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the program director for the Milwaukee Artist Resource Network. She is also a contributing writer for Lenscratch, an online photographic arts publication. She received a bachelor of arts in studio art from the University of Alabama and master’s of fine arts in photography from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Marina Peng is a multimedia artist from St. Louis. She works across fiber, sculpture, installation, and photography. She received a bachelor of fine arts from Washington University in St. Louis in 2017. She has exhibited her work both locally and regionally at spaces including ACRE Projects, Dream Clinic Project Space, Duane Reed Gallery, Granite City Art and Design District, The Kranzberg Arts Foundation, The Luminary, PLUG, and Granite City Art and Design District.

Allena Marie Brazier is an award-winning artist, curator, and published writer from East St. Louis, Illinois. She has a bachelor of fine arts from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and master’s of fine arts from Washington University. She was the inaugural curator in residence for Sam Fox-Lewis Collaborative at TechArtista. Currently, she is guest curator for the exhibition Existence of Coziness at Maryville University and project member and consultant with the Middle Waters Field School.

Tickets for this free, on-site program may be reserved in person at the Museum’s Information Centers or through MetroTix. All tickets secured through MetroTix incur a service charge; the service charge is waived for tickets obtained in person at the Museum.
