Teen Takeover: St. Louis Style
Created by SLAM’s Teen Arts Council, this event highlights fashion in The Culture: Hip Hop and Contemporary Art in the 21st Century and throughout the Museum with a fashion show, sneaker design competition, community collaborations, games, photobooth, free snacks, and a dance party! No tickets or reservations are required to attend.
Schedule
- 5-8 pm Sneaker Design Competition in Sculpture Hall
 - 5-6:45 pm Drop-In Fashion Stations, Snacks, Games, and Photobooth in the Education Center
 - 6:45-7:30 pm Fashion Show in Sculpture Hall
 - 7:30-8:30 pm Dance Party in the Education Center

The fashion show is hosted in collaboration with the Teen Arts Council and the City Sewing Room of St. Louis. Local teens will showcase outfits inspired by works of art from the Museum’s collection, created during a 24-hour design challenge.
