Teen Takeover—Young Artists Exhibition Opening
Join the Teen Arts Council for the Young Artists Exhibition opening. This event is planned by teens for teens.
Enjoy an exhibition planned and juried by the Teen Arts Council. This year, the Teen Arts Council was especially looking for art that invites participation: artworks that prompt action, that viewers can interact with, or that viewers can add to. Artists responded to the theme, “the edge of what’s next.” Snacks, activities, and a short celebration will take place in the Education Center.

About the Teen Arts Council
The Saint Louis Art Museum Teen Arts Council is built upon the philosophy that teens are integral to the design and implementation of teen programs at the Museum. The mission of the Teen Arts Council is to be an active, creative, and influential voice in the Museum.
TAC members are exposed to many facets of the Museum including our collection and exhibitions and inform teen programming in order to build a greater teen audience at the Saint Louis Art Museum. In addition to planning the annual Young Artists Exhibition, TAC members receive behind-the-scenes Museum experiences, participate in arts workshops, and take field trips to local arts organizations.
Generous support provided by Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program.
